CBSE introduced the NCF-aligned scheme in Class IX from 2026–27, while Class X in 2026–27 continues the preceding cohort scheme. Confirm the learner's class, subject variant and school entry before teaching. Latest published CBSE Board durations are used for Class X/XII; CBSE confirms final duration on the date sheet and admit card and provides 15 minutes of reading time before the written paper.
