Curriculas We Teach

We match to the specific board and level your child sits — not a generic course. Pick a route to see how we teach it..

What we teach, by stage

Our curriculum progresses with your child, building strong foundations and exam-ready skills at every step.

  • Physics at sixth form
  • Chemistry at sixth form
  • Biology at sixth form

Science marks slip for a small number of fixable reasons

Combined science hides which of the three is actually the problem. A single grade covering three disciplines can conceal a strong biologist and a struggling physicist, and the diagnostic session exists to separate them.

reason icon 1

One grade, three subjects

A middling science grade rarely means middling across the board. It usually means one discipline is pulling the other two down, and neither the student nor the report says which.

The maths inside science

Physics and chemistry calculations, biology’s ratios and percentages. When the maths is the barrier, students conclude they are bad at science, which is the wrong diagnosis and a costly one.

reason icon 3

Explanation questions

All three disciplines reward a chain of reasoning rather than an answer. Students who write conclusions without steps lose marks they had already earned.

reason icon 4

Practical work never revised

Method, variables, error and improvement carry real marks in every board. Students who did the experiment rarely revise it as examinable content.

How Tuition Highway works

You don’t sort through profiles or chase a tutor. We run the match and stay accountable for it.

our tutors icon 1

We match, not you

We assess curriculum, subject, level, weak areas and schedule first — then match one tutor built around that.

our tutors icon 2

The same tutor, weekly

Continuity, not a rotating pool. Your child works with one tutor who knows exactly where they are.

our tutors icon 3

Progress reported to you

You get regular updates on what was covered and what’s next — no wondering what happens in the session.

Not right? We replace them

If the fit isn’t working, we rematch at no extra cost. The match is our responsibility, not your family’s.

Reassurance built into every step

If the first lesson doesn’t feel like the right fit, we match another expert tutor at no extra cost.

Questions parents ask

Can one tutor really cover all three sciences?+

Up to 16, yes, and it is usually better — the maths and reasoning skills are shared across the three, so one tutor sees the pattern. From 16 we move to specialists, because the depth is no longer interchangeable.

Combined or triple science — do you cover both?+

Both, across Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, AQA GCSE, IB MYP, CBSE and American high school.

We do not know which science is the weak one.+

That is normal and it is the first thing the diagnostic session establishes. A single combined grade is not designed to tell you.

Do you tutor science at primary age?+

Yes, ages 7 to 11, focused on curiosity and investigation skills rather than content coverage.

What happens at 16?+

Your child specialises, and so do we. The plan moves to Physics, Chemistry or Biology with a specialist tutor, usually keeping continuity where the fit has been good.
